It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I pen my message as the Principal of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (ABVIMS & Dr R.M.L H) New Delhi.

 

As a prestigious & premier institution, dedicated to medical education and healthcare, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of compassionate, skilled, and visionary medical professionals.It is not just for national recognition but excelling at the international forum of premier medical institutions around the world.

 

Our curriculum goes beyond traditional textbooks to emphasize practical, evidence-based, and patient-centric learning.At our institutes, students gain invaluable hands-on clinical exposure, preparing them to tackle the complex healthcare challenges of today. Our laboratories, modern simulation centers, soft skills lab and dedicated faculty ensure a rigorous and enriching learning environment.

 

 ABVIMS & Dr RMLH now having one of the largest shares of sanctioned/affiliated seats in postgraduate courses with a total of 208 MD/MS seats; 51 seats in super speciality fields, 2 seat in DrNB Gastroenterology,5 seats DNB Emergency Medicine 100 MBBS seats along with others paramedical courses.

 

The institute receive research grant from the Department of Health Research (DHR), MOHF&W, Govt of India and ICMR .The researh projects are monitored & regulated by Institute Research cell (IRC) .Numerous e-resources are there in institute cetral Library including clinical key, up to date, Access Medicine series, Grammarly and E-Granthalya.

 

We conduct different Induction Programmes for Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Interns which include workshops on Communication Skills, Basic Life Support, Good Clinical Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and BMW management.
